Manuscript, The Advocate's Challenge: Special Education Advocacy for Juveniles with Disabilities - This manuscript explains how special education advocacy can improve access to special education services for juveniles and thereby reduce school dropout. The manuscript was developed as a training tool for the Special Education Juvenile Justice Project. Monograph, The Promise of Special Education and System of Care Services for At-Risk Children - This monograph was developed in connection with CLA's training on the same topic but stands alone as a written document. Parents Together (Revised 2008) -  This manual was developed for parents who have children in special education. The handbook/notebook will assist families in working to protect the rights of their children within the school systems. 
 
Manuscript, Justice for Victims with Disabilities - This manuscript was developed as part of a training curriculum for the Victims with Disabilities Project to help educate victim assistance providers and the disability assistance community about the legal rights of victims with disabilities. Partners in Justice Resource Guide - This guide is for professionals who work in the field of criminal justice. It discusses various aspects of cognitive (intellectual) disabilities and their impact on individuals who have them and who become involved in the criminal justice system. 
North Carolina Jails and Inmates with Mental Illnesses and Developmental Disabilities - This report examines the operation of county jails and the consequences of jail policies and procedures for the thousands of individuals with mental illnesses or developmental disabilities incarcerated on any given day in North Carolina.
