Legislative Hearing in January

In January, a two-day hearing was convened by the N.C. General Assembly's Joint Select Committee on Capital Trial, Sentencing, and Post Conviction Procedures for Persons Who Suffer Severe Mental Disabilities. Psychiatrists, judges and lawyers appeared before the committee to discuss the current law, the proposed bill and the ramifications of the legislation.
