Special Education Juvenile Justice Project

This project ensures special education services for at-risk youth and low-income juveniles with disabilities. Our clients are often subject to long-term suspension and referred to the juvenile or criminal justice system based upon behaviors stemming from their disabilities and unmet special education needs. The purpose of this Project is to provide legal representation and advocacy toward the goals of reducing school suspensions, court referrals, and illiteracy and drop out among at-risk youth and juveniles with disabilities.
